Sales and Event Coordinator

Employment Type: Part-time (flexible schedule, some weekends)

Position Summary

Skyline is looking for a hard-working individual that will play a key role in our event coordination and planning. This position will help with outreach to organizations that would be interested in hosting an event or party at Skyline. It will require strong interpersonal communication skills, creativity, and the ideal candidate is a self-driven, motivated, and thoughtful salesperson. The Event Coordinator will work closely with the Events and Office Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads (corporate, business, school, individual, organizations)
  • Schedule ongoing or repeat events
  • Communicate with customer to determine needs and help organize event details
  • Coordinate the party and execute set-up
  • Promote special events
  • Build and maintain working relationships with corporate clients
  • Analyze sales trends & goals
  • Track performance, including customer feedback
  • Must be comfortable calling current and prospective customers
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Customer Relation Management systems
  • Represent Skyline in the community at various events

Qualifications & Requirements

  • College student seeking a degree in marketing, business, or related fields
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • High energy and outgoing personality

Compensation

  • $12.00/hour
