Restaurant & Kitchen Shift Manager

Position Summary

This position oversees evening operations while reporting and working with the restaurant manager. In this position, you will oversee and prepare dishes to the highest of standards. You will train, mentor and evaluate employee performance. Shifts are typically done at 9:00PM. Occasional weekend work if large banquets are taking place.


  • Provide input to improve, expand and maintain high-quality food
  • Oversee and lead a team
  • Prepare quality food products
  • Create new menu items
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards/regulations as well as all applicable federal, state, and
    local laws/ordinances
  • Physical Requirements: Stand, walk, run, handle objects, occasionally move 30 pounds
  • Perform any other miscellaneous job duties as assigned
  • Proactive and highly organized

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant experience required
  • Any culinary education is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to oversee and work well with others
  • Must be able to pass background check


  • Starting at $14.00/hour
  • One week paid vacation
